how it works

one event, start to finish.

from the first “add these ones too” to the last withdrawal, here is exactly what comtev does on a real event, in the order it happens: the guest list collected on whatsapp, the wedding invitations and QR access cards sent in one tap, the gate scanned, the invoice paid in naira.

the order of ceremony

01

set up the event and the client

add your event and the person paying for it. your client gets their own private link with a pin, and inside it a live view of their event: the guest list growing, confirmations landing, check-ins on the day. they see exactly what you release to them, and nothing else in your account. next month, when they call you for the next party, they are already in your books.

02

hand the list to the AI assistant

tell comtev who holds each piece of the guest list. the bride, the groom, the two mummies, the aunty with the spreadsheet. our AI assistant messages each of them on whatsapp, collects their guests, chases the slow ones, merges duplicates, and holds everybody to the allowance you set. you watch one clean list grow instead of copying names out of three group chats.

03

send invitations and e-access

invitations and QR access passes go out in one tap. every guest gets their own code. remove a guest and the code dies immediately, even on an old invite. the sends cost you wholesale, and you put them on your client’s invoice at your own price.

04

let automations carry the routine

this is where the job stops following you home. teach comtev the rules you currently enforce by hand, and they run without you: a guest taps yes and their access pass lands in their chat before you have even seen the reply. a client’s payment clears and the event opens itself, guest list created, work already moving. confirmations drift from maybe to locked-in without you copying a single name. each rule is one plain sentence, written once, kept forever, at 3am with the same enthusiasm as 3pm.

05

scan at the door

give your door staff scan-only access. they check guests in with a phone: green tick, guest name, in. no paper lists, no arguments at the gate, and a live count you can see from wherever you are standing.

06

invoice, get paid, withdraw

raise your invoice in naira at the price you set. your client pays from their link by paystack, no account, no login. what lands in your balance withdraws to your nigerian bank. and if a client bills you back for anything, you can receive their invoice in the same place, so both sides of the money live on one record.

what it costs

free to run. you set the client price.

opening an account costs nothing and there is no subscription. you pay wholesale for the messages you send and the guest-collection seats you hand out, then invoice your client at your own price. the worked example, with real figures, is on the pricing page.

straight answers

do my client’s people need to install anything?

no. the people contributing guests just reply to a whatsapp message. your client opens a private link with a pin and watches their event live from there. only you and your team use the comtev app itself.

what if two people add the same guest?

comtev merges duplicates across everyone before they become a problem, so one guest cannot occupy two seats or collect two passes.

can my staff see the money side?

only if you let them. permissions are per-person: door staff can scan and nothing else, a junior planner can manage guests without seeing invoices, and your client sees only what you release.

what does all of this cost me?

comtev is free to run. you pay wholesale for the messages you send and the guest-collection seats you hand out, and you charge your client your own price for that work. the worked example with real figures is on the pricing page.
